Helping Assemblies and associated ministries do what they cannot do alone.
Who We Are
Stewards Ministries was founded in 1982 to benefit and to carry out the purposes of the churches or New Testament Assemblies known as Plymouth Brethren by enabling them to perform the scriptural ministries and functions which they cannot effectively perform when acting alone. We focus on four major programs.
What We Do
-
We direct funds to efforts that serve to strengthen Assemblies around the world. Whether that means sponsoring conferences, leadership training, supporting the construction of a facility which will serve a community or assisting in book distribution, these gifts are designed to help Assemblies do what they cannot do alone.
-
Acknowledging the need for education in the lives of young men and women, we provide scholarship assistance for those seeking their first undergraduate degree. For those seeking a graduate degree, the William K. Coyle, Jr. Graduate Scholarship provides assistance with expenses with the expectation that recipients will serve in an Assembly or Assembly-related ministry for two years upon completion.
-
We serve Assemblies and the men and women they send into the Chaplaincy core by liaising with the Federal Government on their behalf. We gather our Chaplains together regularly for mutual support and encouragement and for training experiences.
-
Twice annually we direct small gifts to men and women who have committed their lives to full-time Christian service and have reached retirement age (65). Although these servants never truly retire, we support their lives and ministries as the Lord refocuses them.
Stewards Ministries is registered as a Public Charity and classified by the IRS as a 509(a)(3) Type II Supporting Organization.
