Reaching Rural Areas with Bible Training
Samfya Bible School sits on the shores of Lake Banguwewlu in the Luapula Province of Zambia. Founded by missionaries in the last century the school is lead by Zambians with passion for training men and women from the rural areas of the country. The individuals who serve churches in these areas, are often unable to attend other institutions in the country. Samfya Bible School is the only source of theological training they can access.
The campus can house XYZ people in a combination of couples and singles. It includes a library, administration block and classrooms.
The school offers two programs on campus. The first year Bible training program is the largest and instruction is carried out in Lunda. The second year, or advanced training, is delivered in English.
The faculty also participate in an extension ministry which takes them into the interior of the country to teach weekend seminars in central villages.
